The problem we saw
For decades, the best investing tools — real-time data, smart order routing, risk analytics, AI insight — were locked behind six-figure account minimums and enterprise contracts. Retail brokers gave consumers a chart, a buy button, and a hopeful emoji. The gap between what professionals used and what consumers got was embarrassing.
What we built
Market Securities is the matching engine of a hedge fund, the design language of a consumer app, and the cost structure of a discount broker — wrapped in a single platform. Every investor, regardless of account size, gets the same sub-50ms execution, the same audited data, the same AI Copilot. No tiers. No upsells. No 'premium' features behind a paywall.

Market Securities was founded in Q3 2017 by Aisha Patel (ex-Jane Street systems architect) and Kenji Watanabe (ex-Robinhood lead designer). They incorporated in Delaware with $1.2M of angel capital from founders of Robinhood, Stripe, and Plaid.
